RadBoost(TM) from StructuRad to Power New UltraRAD PACS Workflow and Reporting Solution

ENCINO, Calif., May 17 -- StructuRad LLC announces an agreement with UltraRAD Corporation to integrate StructuRad's workflow management and advanced reporting components from StructuRad's RadBoost(TM) technologies for partners, into UltraRAD's industry leading UltraPACS application. The combination of StructuRad's StudyManager and ReportNow applications with UltraPACS creates a complete PACS and radiology reporting solution that sets a new standard for viewing and reporting efficiency. The seamless integration of StructuRad's "Rich Internet Application" (RIA) delivers the robust user experience of a client-side application with UltraRAD's web-based PACS. This new offering will be available in June through UltraRAD and its distributors.

"Adding StructuRad StudyManager's powerful routing and distribution capabilities, and ReportNow's all-in-one features with UltraPACS viewing creates a compelling solution that will benefit imaging centers, hospitals, teleradiologists, and nighthawk/dayhawk operations with workflow flexibility, faster report turnaround and lower cost," said Bill Tulloss, StructuRad's Vice President Marketing and Sales. "With our RadBoost technology integrated into UltraPACS the viewing and reporting process is compressed, yielding improved control and efficiency."

"We are pleased to team with StructuRad and to offer the most advanced workflow and reporting solutions to our customers," said Tom Goliash, CEO of UltraRAD. "Our customers will have better visibility and control over the image interpretation, routing and distribution which in turn enables quick turnaround time, optimized workflow and better patient care."

UltraPACS customers will benefit from customized worklists and routing for each user, final report creation with e-signature, automated distribution, and management reports. StructuRad's StudyManager provides a consolidated worklist that orchestrates the workflow for both viewing and reporting so that images can be viewed along with the associated reports, charts and other attachments. ReportNow, the powerful "all-in-one" radiology reporting solution, offers direct reporting, a comprehensive library of over 7,000 FastMacros, advanced speech recognition features and Microsoft® Word editor with custom report templates.
