All-in-one NA-330 supports ten Gigabit LANs, Intel® HT Technology, LAN Bypass, and BIOS redirection to provide stable network performance and improve IT efficiency and security
Taipei, Taiwan, - Axiomtek announces its new NA-330 low power 1U rackmount network appliance with ten Gigabit LANs, utilizing dual core Intel® Atom(TM) processor D525 at 1.8 GHz with Intel® ICH8M PCH chipset. The NA-330 supports two high bandwidth DDR3 SO-DIMM slots with memory up to 4GB. For greater flexibility, the NA-330 is available with either ten Gigabit Ethernet ports or eight Gigabit Ethernet ports plus two SFP based fiber ports. To help with unexpected shutdowns, our network appliance supports two-group LAN bypass function through WDT and GPIO pin definitions. The platform uses today's Intel® Hyper-threading Technology to advance CPU performance and throughout. Axiomtek's NA-330 is an ideal solution for network applications in VPN, firewall, UTM and more.

High Port Density & LAN Bypass
To allow developers to configure LAN ports based on their solution requirement, the NA-330 offers up to ten Gigabit Ethernet ports and two Gigabit SFP ports using Intel® 82583V, Intel® 82572EI and Intel® 82541PI LAN chips. It also supports two group of LAN bypass function via WDT and GPIO pin definitions to prevent sudden power shutdowns. The Intel® Hyper-threading Technology enables multiple threads to run on each core to increase processor throughput and performance.
Expansion & Storage Capability
In order to address the various network application needs, the NA-330 features two 2.5" SATA HDD or one 3.5" SATA HDD, a CompactFlash(TM) slot, a console port, and two USB ports, and one PCI Express Mini card (USB-type) available for WiFi wireless card installation.
For easy maintenance, the front panel has a front-facing LED indicator for power and HDD activity monitoring. The NA-330 also supports mainstream Linux kernel 2.4 and 2.6 operating systems. The Atom-based network platform will be available in the middle of November, 2011.
