Quicksnap from Igus Facilitates Simple Installation and Detachment of Small Energy Chains


EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. - January 23, 2007 - The Quicksnap accessory from igus® Inc., the industry-leading developer of Energy Chain® cable carriers and iglide® plastic bearings, facilitates simple and fast installation and detachment of small Energy Chains. Quicksnap is affixed to the stationary point using a screw. A plastic tab extends over the end of the mounting bracket and securely connects the cable carrier. The carrier can be easily detached by lifting it up and pulling back which will release the tab.

Quicksnap is ideal for applications requiring frequent cable replacement or applications where a single power source is used on multiple machines. It is only available for System E2 Energy Chains with an inner height of .59 inches or less.
