Sunnyvale-IDEC Corporation, worldwide manufacturer of control automation devices and industry standard switches and relays, is proud to announce an addition to its renowned HW series of 22mm pushbuttons. The new HW4 models have the same great features as the present HW models but now feature nickel-plated aluminum bezels.
IDEC developed these new models in response to overwhelming customer request. Metal bezels have a more rugged, industrial appearance, which many customers prefer.
The bright metal bezel switches will also stand out visually against darker backgrounds, which allows for more flexibility in panel design.
"We know our customers care about what their control panels look like, and pushbuttons are a big part of that," says Product Specialist Mike Delantoni. "Now they can choose between a modern matte black bezel or an industrial nickel plated one."
HW4 switches are compatible with all existing HW series components. Standard HW black plastic bezel switches will continue to be available as well.
Metal bezel models are available in round pushbutton styles with flush, extended and mushroom buttons, as well as E-stops, pilot lights, and selector switches. Equivalent part numbers in the HW4 line are available for all existing round HW1 plastic bezel models.
