The Siemon Company Announces Revolutionary New F-Type Push-on Coax Connector
Watertown, CT -- The Siemon Company, a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of telecommunications connecting hardware and premise cabling systems, announces the release of its newest F-type coax connector, the EZ Twist®.
Dramatically reduce coax cable termination time with Siemon's new EZ Twist® connector. No tools or crimping are required. To terminate, simply twist the connector onto the cable for a secure, high performance connection. EZ Twist® also eliminates screw-on connections to outlets. Simply push the connector onto an outlet to lock it in place, pull to remove. This feature is ideal in high-density installations where space is limited and conventional connectors are difficult to secure to outlets.
"The beauty of the EZ Twist," comments Mitch Bussell, New Business Development Manager for The Siemon Company, "is that it is easy to terminate onto both the cable end and the outlet. Because crimping is not required, the installer doesn't need to waste time trying to find the right tool. And because the connector is attached to an outlet or port using a straight push-to-lock method, more time is saved because screw-on connections are eliminated. The push-to-lock attachment also simplifies work with high-density applications, like home cabling enclosures. These often lack sufficient space for the typical screw-on connector and the installer's fingers. For these application, the EZ Twist is perfect."
The EZ Twist® connector is a great solution for both commercial and residential coax applications. For more information or to view a video on its easy termination, visit www.homecabling.com or http://www. siemon.com.
