HAMILTON, OH (July 26,2004) - The new Salvagnini S4N punching and shearing machine delivers unrivaled speed and flexibility with the push of the "Start" button. Conceived with the concept of process as its guiding principle, every detail of the new S4N is designed to provide the finest in material handling; punching and shearing; programming and diagnostics for consistent quality and flexible manufacturing.
The new S4N's increased productivity and throughput are achieved by dramatically reducing the distance of sheet travel required to punch parts. The Salvagnini patented multi-press head, combined with an integrated shear will punch and cut parts with the speed, precision and accuracy that outpaces any ordinary turret machine. Unlike turret presses, which must be indexed before each operation, all of the S4N's 96 punching tool stations are live, eliminating tool change time and providing far faster and far more flexible production.
