Solid Center Brace Eliminates Ring Spreading Potential
CLEVELAND, OH - (July 15, 2004)- A new series of lifting rings has been announced by Jergens, Inc. The new Forged Center Pull style lifting rings integrate a solid center brace lift bail, which eliminates the possibility of spreading the ring if misapplied. Each ring can pivot 180° and swivel 360°, which allows items being lifted to be flipped or turned.
Forged Center Pull lifting rings have maximum capacities of 800 to 5000 lbs. and feature a 5:1 strength factor. Manufactured of North American-produced alloy steel, they are available in both inch and metric versions.
