Divelbiss Corporation Launches Breakthrough Technology- PLC on a Chip(TM)
Device incorporates Freescale's Microcontroller Technology
FREDERICKTOWN, Ohio -- JUNE 20, 2005 -- Divelbiss Corporation has introduced a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) on a single chip called PLC on a Chip(TM). PLC on a Chip(TM) uses Divelbiss Corporation's innovative PLC algorithms and user-friendly EZ Ladder programming software and is based on Freescale Semiconductor's microcontroller technology.
PLC on a Chip(TM) is a complete PLC, ready to embed into an OEM's product. The chip can be integrated into an OEM's product, making it ready for an application program loaded from the EZ Ladder programming software. EZ Ladder allows for programs to be generated in ladder diagram and function block.
Both technologies within PLC on a Chip(TM) allow the OEM to have a cost-effective and quick-to-market Programmable Logic Controller embedded into their product.

Divelbiss recently released a new board-level controller, the Enhanced Baby Bear Controller, based on PLC on a Chip Technology. In the near future additional board level products will be available. Additional chip-level products are in development to enhance PLC on a Chip Technology.
