Toshiba Machine's Ultra-Compact TC7 PLC Is Now Available In the United States

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL - (September 11, 2003) Toshiba Machine Co., America has brought its TC7 Series of PLCs to the U.S. market. Previously available only in Japan, the TC7 is compact, multi-functional and economically priced.

A board-type PLC, the TC7 is available in models as small as 90 x 60mm, and is easily configured into a variety of equipment. In Japan, over 80,000 TC7s are sold annually for use in applications that include industrial freezers, ovens, dryers and more. Thermistor inputs, (two inputs come standard), make the TC7 ideal for temperature-controlled appliances and equipment.

Because the TC7 uses ladder language programming, unlike microprocessor boards, manufacturers can easily design, customize, monitor, and debug programs using their own PC.

Features and functions of the TC7 include 8 inputs/outputs, 2 analog inputs and a control panel interface. The control panel interface allows for 7-segment LED outputs (7 digits maximum), single LED output (8 numbers maximum) and a key switch input (16 numbers maximum). The control panel is sold separately.
