Commerce One, LLC Announces Release of Commerce One Procurement v6.0
SAN RAMON, Calif., Sept. 19 / -- Commerce One, LLC today announces the release of Commerce One Procurement v6.0, (COP v6.0), the latest offering of its flagship eProcurement application. This release, which includes significant enhancements in functionality, will be available for shipment on October 14, 2005.

Specifically, the new services procurement features allow users to shop for services provided by a supplier and extend their ability to manage and control spending beyond the purchase of goods and supplies. Functionality around commodity settings, change orders, cost distribution, price edits, and workflow are included in the new features. In addition, enhanced functionality in supplier collaboration has been added in this release.
As part of its on-going strategy to be a more customer-centric organization, Commerce One worked closely with its user community to determine requirements for the new features in COP v6.0. Among contributors were several customers who had previously engaged Commerce One to develop customizations in some of the areas addressed in the new release. As one longtime user of Commerce One applications says, "It's functionality such as this, broadening the capability and value of the entire system, which translates to improvement in our bottom line. We're pleased to see that these features have now been incorporated into this release."
Commerce One plans to host a web-conference for its customers to review the new features of COP v6.0 in greater detail.
