Fontware and Jetmobile Announce Barstorm, an Intelligent Print Server Featuring Bardimm Pro Barcoding Technology
Fareham, UK and Issy les Moulineaux, France - Jan 16, 2006: Digital document solution provider, Fontware(TM), and barcode market leader Jetmobile(TM) today announced the launch of BarSTORM, a unique multi-port print server & network bridge with "BarDIMM Inside" technology, enabling auto barcode printing on standard laser printers and multi-function devices. The unit removes the need for specialist barcode printers. & also has flash memory on board for additional data storage.
BarSTORM was developed in order to allow barcode printing on ANY PCL5 printer or multi-function device not natively supported by the Jetmobile(TM) BarDIMM(TM) Pro solution. It also allows the "BarDIMM(TM) Inside" technology to be used by customers who have a mix of Hewlett Packard & non-HP devices as an enterprise wide solution. BarSTORM fulfills the growing demand for intelligent 1D and 2D barcoding within SMEs and larger corporates. It is printer independent and enables users to easily generate all kind of barcodes across standard printers or multi-function devices & can be used in applications such as document tracking, inventory control, asset management and for managing sensitive documentation in manufacturing, healthcare, central & local government, logistics & financial services.
