EHM Technology Announces Highest Capacity Primary Lithium Cell
EHM Technology, Inc. of Bolingbrook, IL, has just announced and extremely high capacity Lithium Thionyl Chloride battery, particularly suitable for applications requiring a long service life. Their Model ER34615-H, Primary battery will find apt usages for original design, and replacement applications in water meters and remote reading applications where its long service life adds an additional asset to any list of specifications.
The ER34615-H, is an IEC "D" size cell with a rated capacity of 19 Ah. At 3.6V the battery boasts a continuous current rating of 230 mA and pulse current rate of 500 mA. A shelf life of 10 years is ascribed to these cells.
