Pressure Regulators have Teflon® wetted parts.
Press Release Summary:
Suitable for semiconductor and other applications requiring ultra-pure liquids, Series PRU regulators convert inlet pressure up to 120 psi to preset downstream range from 5 to 100 psi. Valve body materials are Teflon PTFE, Kynar® PVDF, or natural polypropylene. Piping connections are flare, spigot, socket, or threaded. Convoluted, Teflon diaphragm senses and controls downstream pressure. Stainless steel springs control pressure setting.
Original Press Release:
All-Teflon® Pressure Regulators for Ultra-pure Liquids
Summary: Pressure Regulators with all Teflon® wetted parts to meet the requirements of semiconductor and other applications requiring ultra-pure liquids. Regulators convert varying inlet pressure up to 120 psi to preset downstream range from 5 to 100 psi. Available with flare, spigot and other connections, from Plast-O-Matic Valves, Inc.
Cedar Grove, NJ - Plast-O-Matic Valves has introduced a new Pressure Regulator featuring all-Teflon® wetted parts for safeguarding media purity.
Designed specifically for the ultrapure processing needs of the semiconductor industry, Series PRU features a convoluted Teflon diaphragm to sense and control downstream pressure in a piping system. The regulator will handle inlet pressure to 120 psi. Downstream pressure can be set from 5 to 100 psi. The internal flowpath remains open to eliminate crevices and "dead-leg."
Stainless steel springs are used to control the pressure setting. The springs are isolated from the media; all wetted parts are either Teflon or thermoplastic. Valve body materials are offered in Teflon PTFE, Kynar® PVDF, or Natural Polypropylene. Piping connections are offered in flare, spigot, socket, or threaded. Consult factory for size availability.
