Spence Announces Type D50 Direct-Acting Pressure Reducing Regulator
Spence Engineering Company, Inc., of Walden, New York, announces our Type D50 Direct-Acting Pressure Reducing Regulator. Used where cost and/or space limitations are the primary concern, the D50 Regulator is a rugged and economical choice for use on steam irons, autoclaves, laundry mangles, single radiators, steam tables, vulcanizers, steam, water or gas applications.
Available in sizes ½" - 2" in cast iron, ½" to ¾" in bronze and ½" to 1" in stainless steel, the D50 Direct-Acting Pressure Reducing Valve is rated to 300 PSIG at 420°F and reduces pressures from 3 to 140 psi.
Other notable features of the D50 Pressure Reducing Valve include: spherical seating surface on floating stainless steel disc for tight shutoff, five spring ranges, integral stainless steel strainer and the availability of a Teflon® disc for liquid and gas dead-end service.
