SCHMIDT Offers Cost Effective Electronic, Two-Hand PressControl PC50 System



Cranberry Twp., PA, December 13, 2002 - - SCHMIDT Feintechnik announces the availability of a cost-effective, two-hand control system for its line of Air-Powered and Hydro-Pneumatic Presses or other electro pneumatically- or hydraulically-operated equipment. SCHMIDT's PressControl PC50, which meets OSHA standards, features an optoelectronic cycle initiation device, electronic stroke position interface, digital cycle control and a digital display with an adjustable complete stroke cycle counter and reset button.

The ram return stroke can also be initiated upon reaching either a stroke completion sensor or when a selected press target force has been reached. An integrated electronic timer provides for repeatable and accurate time and pressure operation. The dwell time can be adjusted from 0 to 655 seconds in .05 second increments. An electronic lockout feature prevents unauthorized access. The compact, PC50 can be used with all SCHMIDT® Air-Powered and Hydro-Pneumatic Presses.
