New Color, Windows®-based Controls Make Bending Faster and Easier on TRUMPF V Series Press Brakes
FARMINGTON, Conn., June 3, 2003 - TRUMPF Inc. is now offering new Windows®-based controls for their V Series of CNC press brakes. The new controls have a color display and offer faster data access and the ability to simulate up to 99 different bends.
A color flat screen with 2D graphics comes standard with the DA69 TWVP series of controls. The new controls are also available with a 3D visualization or a 3D visualization/programming upgrade.
New features of the control include expanded memory for program and tool storage, faster processing speeds for network access, and accelerated graphics display for complex 3D parts. Part processing capability has been expanded to calculate and simulate up to 99 bends and 15 different tool stations. In addition, USB ports allow connections for a keyboard, printer and barcode reader, while a mouse touch pad ensures quick data access. The control mounting pendant easily adjusts to suit the operator's ergonomic requirements.
