HOLLAND, OHIO - Toledo Integrated Systems announces the Co-Pilot, an integrated press automation and monitoring system with signature analysis. One package provides press and die protection with tonnage signature analysis at the press.
The Co-Pilot combines die protection, tonnage monitoring with reverse load, signature analysis, programmable limit switches, brake monitoring and more into ONE resolver-based package. All operator interfacing with these functions is done on a clear, high resolution, color screen. All functions have alarms that alert the operator when its settings are violated. The signature analysis includes CCM (Critical Curve Monitoring) and enveloping, which was designed to help detect problems before a press or die becomes damaged. Other features include debounce, motion detect, counters, job storage, speed compensation, 3 password levels, serial ports and flash card for job copying. Analog inputs and other options are available.
The Co-Pilot is sold as a stand-alone package and also as a system with an integrated clutch/brake controller, the Co-Pilot TPC.
