New International Series of 2.4 VA Power Transformers Gains VDE Approval
Prem Magnetics, Inc. is pleased to announce that its 2.4 VA series of power transformers (SPW-3400 Series) has gained VDE approval to the 0805 (EN60950) standard. This series already had received UL 1585 Class 2 & 3, UL 60950 and cUL CAN/CSA 22.2 No. 60950 recognition.
This line of 2.4 VA printed circuit mount power transformers is pin-for pin-compatible and therefore interchangeable with U.S. industry standard transformers carrying lesser levels of approvals.
Units in this new series features dual winding primaries for an input voltage of 115/230 volts 50/60 Hz. Output voltages from the dual secondaries range from 5.0 VAC up to 120 VAC at 2.4 VA.
Package dimensions for the SPW-3400 series are 1.375" (34.93 mm) long by 1.310" (33.27 mm) wide by 1.410" (35.81 mm) high.
