Vicor Integration Architect Introduces New PFC Low-Profile Power Supply Family Only 1.75" High with Up to Six Outputs
Northwest Power Integrations (NPI)-a Vicor Integration Architect-introduced a new series of its PowerBank family of low-profile power supplies that adds power-factor correction capability. From inputs of 115/230Vac, it provides up to six configurable main outputs and two low-power auxiliary outputs. Designated PowerBank PB1506PFC, output power is 1,200W at 110Vac and 1,500W at 220Vac.
This unit is designed with 19" rack applications in mind, but it can also be used as a stand-alone box. Many mounting options make it suitable for a variety of applications. Internal fans provide cooling and dimensions are only 16.84" long x 12.6" wide x 1.75" high.
"The PBl506PFC is very similar to the original PB1005AC in terms of connectivity, so it would be easy for a current user to upgrade from the autoranging input to PFC input", said Wojciech Tabisz, President of NPI.
Prices start as low as $1.42/W in 100-piece quantities; Lead time is 1 to 8 weeks.
