Penmar Automation Have Announced the Introduction of a New Power Press Control Unit

Body Text: Penmar Automation have announced the introduction of a new Power Press Control unit which improves the safety of metal stamping operations in compliance with the CSA Safety Standard Z142-02 which becomes mandatory in December 2004.

This press control is called the Command Stamp and ties together all of the safety guards and monitoring devices on Power Presses with diverse redundancy in order to verify and maintain safe Power Press operations.

In conjunction with the introduction of this new unit developed entirely in Canada, Reflex Integration will be holding Open House sessions on April 28th, May 27th and June 24th all at 10:30 am to demonstrate the unit installed on a 1960's vintage 80 ton Minster press in compliance with the Z142-02 standard.

This unit represents a cost effective way to upgrade older presses to meet this updated standard and Reflex has already received two third party engineering certifications of the Command Stamp's compliance with this standard. Additionally, the unit has already received CSA Approval and can be purchased with or without installation.
