Interpower(TM) North American Molded Hospital-Grade Power Cords & Cordsets
Panel Components Corporation announces its expanded line of molded hospital-grade power cords and cordsets.
Interpower(TM) hospital-grade power cords and cordsets are designed for use in hospital and medical settings. The plugs carry the characteristic "green dot", indicating hospital-grade. These plugs meet the North American medical industry requirements
in UL 817 and CSA C22.2 No 21, which certifies them to be able to withstand abrupt removal between the power cable and the plug without failure. The NEMA 5-15 plug is also designed to offer substantial impact resistance to the rigors of a tough environment. These power cords and cordsets are required with medical equipment used in a patient vicinity in North America per UL 2601 and CSA C22.2 No 60601.
Interpower(TM) cordsets are terminated with five different angled IEC 60320 C13 connectors (left, right, up, down, and straight) rated at 10 - 13 amps at 125VAC. This allows designers to reduce the clearance space required behind or under equipment by specifying the angle connector that is appropriate for a particular application. The connectors and cable are available in black and gray, while the NEMA 5-15 plugs are configured in black, gray, or clear.
