A complete line of IWIS high-performance power and free conveyor chains for industry is available from SKF Motion Technologies (Bethlehem, PA). These chains are ideally suited for warehouse and other material-flow systems where pallets, containers, crates, workpieces, carriers, or components must be conveyed, accumulated, accelerated, and singled out easily and reliably.
Among key features, IWIS power and free chains are designed with newly developed "light-running transport rollers" (hardened steel, plastic, or anti-static) for a high reduction of drive power; offset roller arrangements for enhanced support and smoother running of conveyed material; and small minimum radius to accommodate system curves. The chains deliver optimum load distribution (each pin bears the load) and require little or no maintenance due to wax lubrication applied at bearing points in advance by the manufacturer.
