Easy Mount Cylinder Position Sensor
Reliable detection for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders
Norstat now offers a CYLINDER POSITION SENSOR that can reliably
detect the position of a magnetic piston element found in linear and rotary hydraulic (Aluminum) and pneumatic cylinders. The sensor combines a compact and versatile package in a robust IP67 polyamide housing that is available in either Reed or Magneto Resistive versions. The piston's change in status is confirmed by way of an LED, which is standard on the Reed type switch and optional on the resistive version. These Cylinder Position Sensors come standard with a fixed molded cable and offer optional M8 or M12 Connectors. Mounting is easily accomplished via a fixing screw with a wide variety of mounting brackets available to fit various types of cylinder construction.
