Portalify Provides Location Tracking Services to Moratel, Moroccan TETRA Network Operator - Location Tracker Solution Enables Vehicle and Personnel Tracking in Moroccan TETRA Network

Helsinki, Finland and TETRA Experience 2006 Dubai Regional Conference, Dubai--

November 27, 2006 -- Portalify Ltd, a Finland-based software company focused on wireless data services for public safety users, today announced that the company has won a contract to provide a TETRA radio tracking system to Moratel, the operator of Morocco's national TETRA network.

Portalify's Location Tracker solution provides location information on the mobile terminals in Moratel's TETRA network. The software uses Global Positioning System (GPS) to track TETRA terminals while allowing third-party solutions to retrieve location data on the devices. The system was delivered in October 2006 and is already in operation.

Portalify Location Tracker offers benefits in efficiency and security for public safety organizations and private-sector TETRA users. The system allows GPS-equipped field personnel to be located reliably over TETRA connection.

"The ability of Portalify Location Tracker to integrate seamlessly with a wide range of applications enables us to serve our customers with location data for many different purposes. Portalify's ability to provide a customized solution tailored to the requirements of the local environment has laid the groundwork for a successful cooperation," said Boubker Chaoui, General Manager, Moratel.

"Portalify's Location Tracker software enables Moratel to collect location data reliably and cost-efficiently, and to offer high-value location tracking services to its TETRA customers. We are committed to helping Moratel introduce new TETRA services in Morocco by sharing our experience in creating efficient data messaging services," said Hannu Aronsson, CTO, Portalify Ltd.

The Location Tracker software is based on Portalify Data Messaging Server (DMS), the leading TETRA data messaging solution on the market. The solution has a proven track record of reliability, high capacity and continuous uptime both in commercial GSM operator networks as well as in demanding TETRA applications. Portalify DMS is used daily in mission-critical field applications by thousands of users from public sector and safety organizations.
