May 17, 2004, Depew, NY -The Electronics Division of PCB Piezotronics, Inc. offers a line of portable Battery-Powered Signal Conditioners for powering ICP® pressure, force, and vibration sensors. These devices provide constant-current sensor excitation and offer additional features such as gain, integration, sensor bias monitoring, battery status indication, and input fault detection.

Advantages of using battery-powered signal conditioners include portability, low-noise operation, reduction of ground loop problems, and lower cost. They are an ideal choice for in-vehicle testing applications, or for remote locations where line power may be unavailable.
