Rugged Portable PCs Combine P4 Power with ISA Slots

When engineers take PCs to the field, they like the processing
power of Pentium® 4 processors but still need the functionality
of ISA DAS and motion-control boards. That's why they appreciate the new NBV portable PCs from CyberResearch®: They get a
2.4-GHz P4 processor, with 3 full-length ISA slots and 3 PCI slots.

New, more powerful NBV portable PCs from CyberResearch, Inc. bring engineers and scientists portable workstations with up to 2.4 GHz of Pentium 4 processing power in a compact carrying case. This impact-resistant molded ABS case is reinforced with an aluminum internal chassis.

Full-featured NBV portable PCs offer 6 full-length expansion slots: 3 PCI and 3 ISA. These slots are easily accessible at the side of the case. The units have four vertically oriented drive bays; two 5.25" bays and two 3.5" bays. A sliding door covers l/O ports when they are not in use.

NBV portables offer a choice of four TFT LCD displays. NBV 815 has a big 15.4" 200-nit display with a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. NBV 715's high-res 15.1" display has 180 nits and 1400 x 1050 pixels. NBV 615's ultra-bright 15.1" display has 350 nits and 1024 x 768 pixels. NBV 414's cost-effective 14.1" display has 130 nits and 1024 x 768 pixels.
