New Transportable Instrument Case Range Features 180 Rugged, Lightweight and Stackable Standard Models

Optima announces 180 standard portable instrument case models, all based on a rugged and lightweight construction of aluminum bezels and steel panels that can be stacked up to a total load of 400 lbs. The E case range is part of the Optima "integrated look" for mounting 19" equipment / instrumentation in an office or laboratory environment, and includes a wide range of customizing options. Three standard depths (16.94", 20.56" & 24.0") and an optional 24" width, together with unshielded or shielded styles are available, with either door or panel to front and rear. As well as 11 standard colors, a computerized service will match specific colors. Supplied configured and assembled.

Multiple E cases may be stacked using the secure non-stain rubber feet which locate in the corners of a lower unit, while the optional die-cast and flush-mounted zinc handles simplifying the portability, and offer trim-color highlighting. The panel mounting rail is integral to the bezel extrusion for strength, with fixings included as standard for all units. BeCu gasketing is applied to all shielded case seems and joints, contributing to the independently tested 46 dB shielding effectiveness across the 30 - 1,000 MHz range, including peak attenuation up to 67 dB. A copy of the report is available on request.

Phosphate pre-treatment, and thermo-setting, cross-linking resins, provide proven paint adhesion and corrosion resistance to the textured finish, with paint-free contact areas and optional chromate conversion available with shielded versions. The steel panels may be solid or perforated for extra ventilation, as can the doors.

The full Optima Accessories program of blowers, fans, power distribution, grills etc is available as appropriate for the E case range, backed up by a full customization and assembly service that ensures that your E case is delivered ready for immediate system integration with your target equipment.
