Halar® Tubing
The Upchurch Scientific Division of Scivex now extrudes 1/8" and 1/16" OD tubing out of Halar (Ethylene-chlorotrifluoroethylene) polymer. Halar is chemically resistant, yet mechanically stronger than Teflon® - withstanding pressures as high as 6000 psi (414 bar). Halar also offers the ability to withstand radiation and is translucent for flow monitoring, making it ideal for medical applications.
