Three New Short Stroke Pneumatic Linear Actuators from Techno-Sommer Automatic Feature Easy Gripper Mounting and Compact Design
New Hyde Park, New York - The new LI30 series of 4 short stroke pneumatic linear actuators introduced by Techno-Sommer feature a mounting surface which is ideally suited for mounting a robotic gripper or other end effector. The units feature an anti-rotation guide rod to assure precise positioning. Applications include the automated movement of parts as part of a single stage positioning system or as a Z axis for a linear transfer robot. The stroke for each unit is: 15 mm, 30 mm, 60 mm, and 90 mm (.59". 1.2". 2.4". and 3.5"). All have an extending force of 54 lbf and a retracting force of 40.5 lbf. Identified as the LI30 Series they are machined from aircraft grade aluminum and then, hard coat anodized for max durability and corrosion resistance. The extended height of each unit measures 73 mm, 103 mm, 163 mm, and 223 mm respectively. All units are 48.8 mm wide by 34 mm deep. The gripper-mounting surface for all units measures 63 mm wide by 39.6 mm deep by 8 mm thick. Tapped holes for M6 machine screws are provided at the top and sides of the units to facilitate mounting. Mounting locations for proximity sensors are provided.
