Pneumatic Level Sensors are for use in highly viscous liquids.

Press Release Summary:

Manufactured with minimal moving parts, NLS sensors are suited for use in process industry applications where electrical power is not available or hazardous locations exist. Products install with ½ in. pipe and G1 connection at top of tank, offering lifespan of more than 50,000 switch operations. Sensors may be used in conjunction with intrinsic safety barrier to meet hazardous location requirements for level control devices.

Original Press Release:

Pneumatic Level Sensors Ideal for Use in Highly Viscous Liquids

LOGAN, UT - Scientific Technologies, Inc., Automation Products Group introduces NLS Pneumatic Level Sensors. Featuring a minimum number of moving parts, these cost-effective sensors are designed for operational reliability and long life (more than 50,000 switch operations). They install quickly and easily with a standard 1/2 in. pipe and G1 connection at the top of the tank.

The NLS is engineered for use in high viscosity liquids and is ideal for use in process industry applications where electrical power is not available or hazardous locations exist. It may be used in conjunction with an STI intrinsic safety barrier to meet hazardous location requirements for level control devices.

STI has been selected twice by Forbes and three times by Business Week as one of the "world's best small companies." STI's Automation Products Group serves the factory automation, semiconductor, transportation, oil and gas, consumer and food processing industries with a diversified offering of sensing technologies.
