New Type T-180 Plate Bending Machine from Jammes Industrie Rolls Long High-Precision Tubes at a Rate of 200 Parts per Hour
JAMMES INDUSTRIE, the French plate bending machine manufacturer, is now bringing aerospace quality technologies within the reach of all industries. In line with its dedication to continuous innovation, JAMMES INDUSTRIE has designed and developed the new Type T-180 plate-bending machine as the only machine capable of rolling very small diameters over long lengths with a high degree of accuracy and at very high productivity rates.
Thanks to the application of technologies used in the aerospace industry, the Type T-180 machine can bend special sheet metal to produce tubes with small diameters over long lengths with a very high degree of accuracy. Its high productivity rate enables it to produce up to 200 parts per hour.
It is particularly suited for bending stainless steel and aluminium chimney pipes (diameter 3", thickness 0.20" and length 48"), titanium aerospace pipes, and titanium missile bodies.
The extremely fast Type-180 machine bends plates in a single rotation. Machine operation does not require specially qualified operators or specific training. Adding to its productivity, setting up for changing part diameters is very easy and takes only 15 seconds, without tooling.
