Habasit Introduces the 2" Pitch GripTop Belt with High Strength 'Dynamic Gap' Hinge Design
Habasit, the world's leading lightweight conveyor belt manufacturer, introduces the new M5015 GripTop 2" pitch HabasitLINK® plastic modular belt.
The M5015 GripTop 2" belt is designed with the innovative high strength "dynamic gap" in the hinge area to prevent the build up of debris and ice. The specifically designed underside of the belt offers additional protection to the hinge rod in abrasive applications. In addition, the smooth underside of the belt provides proper sprocket engagement even under increased contamination.
The increased strength makes longer inclined conveyor runs possible and minimizes the damage to the belt hinges, e.g. in ski-lift belt's for up to 200 m. Actually this belt is the ONLY skilift belt on the market which that has a tensile strength at break of 180'000N/m and provides the necessary safety factors.
M5015 GripTop is available in Acetal white (especially for high strength and freezing application) and Polypropylene grey and white with black TPE rubber.
