Hypertronics Announces New Circular Plastic Connectors for Medical Applications - HyperGrip(TM)

Hudson, MA (January 6, 2004) - Hypertronics Corporation today announced a new product, HyperGrip, which has joined the family of high reliability circular connectors, designed and manufactured specifically for the Medical Industry.
The user-configurable HyperGrip is color-coded, customer keyable and available in sealed and shielded configurations. The color-code and keying provide an easily recognizable system for accurate and quick connections on medical equipment. The sealing option on the HyperGrip offers IP67 protection when mated, to prevent electrical shorts. The shielding feature supplies EMI/RFI protection against interference.
Unique to HyperGrip is the Front or Rear Panel Mount receptacle design. This feature allows the user to mount the harness assembly from inside or outside of the case.
