KIP's New Approach To Plastic Body Valves
Norgren - KIP Fluid Controls has designed a new plastic body, bi-directional valve. This valve is used primarily in the medical industry. Currently, the 2X1958 is offered as a Series 2, 2-way normally closed valve. The 2X1958 has a quiet valve design, which provides noise-reduction for applications where sound is an issue. Bayblend FR110, ABS and Polycarbonate are the compounds used in constructing this small, barbed body valve. With a 1/8" orifice, the 2X1958 has a Cv of .245 and a maximum PSI of 30. The power rating for the valve is 7 Watts (nominal).
