Radan 06 will be demonstrated at IMTS, September 6 - 13, 2006 in Chicago showing significant improvements to productivity and ease of use.
The latest release introduces the concept of plug-ins; specially written VBA macros that can automatically install on the Radan menu bar either under an 'extras' menu or a menu tree of their own. This innovative step lets you to customize the software to suit your specific needs and integrate with third-party packages.
3D users can fold up a 2D part into an easily modified 3D solid model. By eliminating redrawing of the part from scratch, you're provided with faster turnaround of parts for your customers with reduced potential for shop-floor error.
Also included in this release is improved functionality for automated laser/profiling applications allowing the user to set up and choose preferred cutting strategies for different materials based on manufacturing preferences. Strategies are saved and stored for future use; available at a single mouse click.
You'll benefit from enhancements to interactive nesting, recognizing the true shape part constraints, simplifying manual nesting and allowing for improved common line cutting.
