Rietschle Thomas Vortex Pumps Now Offer Vacuum Capability, DC or AC Motor Options



The innovative Vortex Series of oil-less articulated piston pumps from Rietschle Thomas has expanded to include vacuum versions, plus direct current motors, ideal for use in mobile applications.

All Vortex units feature a patented all-aluminum crankcase and cylinder that runs cooler, provides extended service-free life, and is 15 percent lighter weight than conventional cast iron construction. The balanced 90º "V" design lowers vibration and noise while increasing capacity and efficiency. Permanently lubricated and sealed bearings, plus industrial-duty motors complete this rugged package.

Vortex Series pumps provide up to 125 psi (8.6 bar) of pressure and, with an optional vacuum adapter kit, up to 27.5 in. Hg (932 mbar) of vacuum. Maximum flow is rated at 12.9 CFM (366.1 LPM). AC three-phase or single-phase motors, as well as 12 volt permanent magnet DC motors, are available.
