HOBAS PIPE USA Has Added Another Larger Size to Its Product Line to Meet Customer Needs.
They now offer 110-inch diameter, centrifugally cast, fiberglass reinforced, polymer mortar (CCFRPM) pipe. Because of its thin wall construction, the pipe achieves this ID with an OD of only 114 inches. It is suitable for direct bury, sliplining, microtunneling and above ground installation for new construction and rehab.
One of the lightest pipes available in this diameter, a standard 20-foot section weighs approximately seven tons. Sections join together with one of several push-together, leak free, gasket sealed systems. Like all HOBAS products, it has inherent corrosion resistance and superior hydraulics that maintain maximum flow capacity.
HOBAS manufactured this new size for two new projects in which the customers selected CCFRPM pipe instead of other material options. It remains in the product line which now includes pressure and non-pressure pipes from 18 to 110 inches. HOBAS also produces tee-base manholes, elbows and other specialty items to fit its pipes.
