Pickering Interfaces Showcases their Comprehensive Line of PXI & LXI Switching and Instrumentation for Military/Aerospace

Pickering Interfaces, a global supplier in switching and instrumentation solutions, announced today it will be showcasing several new additions to its comprehensive line of PXI & LXI products at the AUTOTESTCON Show in Anaheim, Disneyland Resort, September 18th-21st 2006

and the 40-139 Versatile Switch Module
The 40-139 is a standard switch module which can be ordered with up to 80 relays in a choice of several thousand combinations of SPST, SPDT, DPST and DPDT configurations. The 40-139 series can be used in any PXI chassis and is also fully supported by Pickering's recently introduced 60-100 LXI chassis, which allows Ethernet control.
The 40-139 Relay Series is suitable for high density applications requiring medium power switching, up to 220V dc, 250Vac, 60 W and 2 Amps. This 1 slot module can often be used to replace up to 4 slots of more expensive lower density PXI relay switch cards, thus simplifying test system cabling and integration plus allowing use of lower cost PXI chassis' which have fewer slots.
Pickering will also have available their PXI handbook that provides an overview of the PXI architecture and it's capabilities. New chapters describe PXI Express and LXI. The "PXImate" is an excellent reference tool for both the expert test engineer and those new to functional test. The PXImate was written by PXI experts, including chapters by Acqiris and Virginia Panel.
