Photoelectric Sensors operate in high vacuum chamber.

Press Release Summary:

Housed in stainless steel, non-fiber, Miniature Photoelectric Sensors use low outgassing cable such as Teflon®, PEEK, or Kapton. They can be mounted inside chamber wall or use standard electrical feedthrough. Through beam, diffuse, fixed focus, and retro-reflective modes are offered for part presence and edge positioning applications. Sensors target flat panel, CD/DVD, and semiconductor industries.

Original Press Release:

New Photoelectric Miniature Sensors Can Be Operated in High Vacuum Chamber

STM's non-fiber miniature photoelectric sensors for high vacuum operation (suitable down to <10 minus 8 mbar) are typically housed in stainless steel, use low outgassing cable e.g. Teflon, PEEK, Kapton, and can be mounted inside the chamber wall or use Standard Electrical Feedthrough. Through beam, diffuse, fixed focus, and retro-reflective modes are offered for part presence and edge positioning applications with high accuracy and repeatability. Any STM amplifier can be used and is mounted outside the chamber. We typically design the sensor to fit YOUR requirements. Flat panel, CD/DVD, semiconductor industries served.
