Leuze Lumiflex : 8 Series Sensor
A Diversity of Function in a Single Housing
Leuze Lumiflex's new Matchbox sized 8 Series sensor is one of the most multi-functional Photo-Electric sensors available. The new 8 Series sensor is available in the following versions; Scanner with background suppression, Through-beam, Retro-reflective, Film and Glass Sensor, Safety Light Barrier, Ultra Sound Sensor, Contrast Scanner, Fiber Optic Amplifier, Distance Measuring Sensor or as a Laser through-beam Sensor. A soon to be released Color scanning model can also be ordered. The 8 Series utilizes Leuze's new AALS technology which helps avoid cross-talk between sensors in close proximity as well as decreasing ambient light interference. The 8 Series is housed in a rugged metal housing and carries a protection rating of IP rating of 67. Mounting is achieved by way of dovetail, blind or through holes with accessories available for rail mounting. An M 12 plug is standard and can be swiveled down or backwards by 90 degrees. A Push-Pull output opens up either a PNP or NPN output signal within the same sensor.
