Avon, Indiana, USA (Sep 7, 2018) - Phoenix Manufacturing Systems is showcasing one of their new affordable product offerings, the Auto Feed Screw Driving Machine, at The Assembly Show (2018). Special pricing is available during the show.

These electric screw guns are fast (50 – 70 pcs per minute), auto-feeding, robust, reliable and affordable. The screw guns can be used as hand-held devices since they are very light and do not experience any vibrations. Depending on the application, they can also be used in fixture mounted, multi-spindle configurations.

The feed system and screw guns can handle Phillips, slotted, triangular screw, Torx, socket head cap screw, hex head screw, etc., in sizes ranging from M1-M6.

Screws are fed from a rotary drum feeder via pneumatic transfer to the drive unit. Torquing starts as soon as the screw feeds, automatically, to the drive tip and the gun presses down on workpiece. Delivery of the next screw to drive tip is almost instantaneous, following completion of torquing.
