Hach/GLI pHD(TM)-series Sensors Feature 'Patented' Differential Electrode Technology

pHD(TM)-series sensors, manufactured by Hach/GLI, use a unique 'Patented' Differential Electrode Technology that offers many advantages over conventional sensor technology. It uses three measuring electrodes instead of the two contained in conventional pH sensors. The process electrode and standard electrode measure the pH differentially with respect to a third ground electrode. This proven technique provides unsurpassed accuracy, reduced reference junction fouling, and virtually eliminates ground loops. The benefit is greater reliability with less downtime and maintenance.

Hach/GLI offers the best sensor warranty in the industry -- free replacement of any pHD(TM) sensor that fails due to defects in materials or workmanship within one year from its date of shipment. If the sensor fails for any reason, including physical damage, within 30 months, Hach/GLI will provide a replacement sensor at a prorated price.
