Housed in a Pelican 1300 Protector Case, the Bowhead Manufacturing's "Extreme LZ Kit" is a rugged all-in-one Helicopter Landing Zone Kit and is the perfect solution for anyone who needs to set up a temporary landing zone.
The kit comes complete with everything needed to set up in any environment. The PowerFlare® Beacons included provide an excellent target for night time activities and can be seen miles away from the air. To prevent pilot vertigo the beacons shine light along the ground and come programmed with nine distinct flash patterns available in a wide range of different LED colors including infrared. With a battery life up to 100 hours depending on the pattern, the beacons are waterproof, intrinsically safe and are so durable that they can be run over by vehicles or aircraft. Additional items included in the kit are a ground spike, an instruction manual, an ANSI safety vest, tape measure and five spare lithium CR123A batteries.
