CardBus PC card from CyberResearch® combines the ease of
installing a Type II PC Card with the 480 Mbps speed of USB 2.0.
And it's fully backward-compatible with USB 1.1 devices.
This unique PC card integrates a power supply with USB host adapters in one industrial package. With the power supply connected, you get a full 500 milliamps per port. With the power supply unconnected, you can still communicate with low-power devices such as keyboards and mice.
The USB host adapters automatically support both USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 protocols. You get the full 480 Mbps of USB bandwidth for USB 2.0 devices and the full 12 Mbps of bandwidth for USB 1.1 devices. If you daisy-chain the COU 202C card to USB hubs, it supports up to 127 USB 1.1/2.0 devices.
The COU 202C CardBus PC card is compatible with Windows 98SE/2000/XP. It comes with a free driver CD-ROM and power adapter.
