Softing Launches New Extreme Environments CANbus/CANopen PC/104 Interface Card



Newburyport, MA - Softing, a leading manufacturer and supplier of CAN Interface Cards, has expanded their offering with a PC/104 interface card for applications with harsh environments.

Based on the modular PC/104 standard, the CAN-AC2-104/I interface offers two nine pin connection ports. Each port connects to the interface card via a ribbon cable allowing total flexibility in connector location. With memory of 256Kbyte SRAM, 4Kbyte dual-port RAM, the card is capable of flawless operation in environments with a temperature range from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius and relative non-condensing humidity of up to 90%. The CAN-AC2-104/I interface is also available coated for protection against condensing moisture.

The CAN-AC2-104/I interface card supports Windows 95/98/ME/NT/XP, Windows CE .NET and Linux.
