Parker Corrugated Tubing Alleviates Kinks In Tight Spaces
Share:
Fort Worth TX, Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, offers fluoropolymer corrugated tubing for applications where increased bend diameters are needed. Parker Corrugated is capable of turning sharp corners without reducing the inside diameter of the tube. The the bend diameter is almost 4x smaller than a typical smoothbore tube of the same size, making it suitable for use in confined spaces and where obstacles would normally restrict or kink other tubing.
Parker corrugated tubing is lightweight, seamless and extremely clear, allowing operators to monitor any material passing through the tube. The non-stick surface allows for easy cleaning and bacteria free transport of media. These corrugated tubes have a maximum continuous operating temperature up to 200°F/93°C @ 0 pressure. They are often used as an electrical insulator or fluid conduit with robots that have flexible arms to deliver electrical wiring, air, or corrosive liquids.Â
Parker corrugated tubing is available from the TexLoc facility in Fort Worth, Texas, and sizes range from 1/4" up to 2 1/2" I.D. Standard corrugated tubing is supplied in FEP but in semiconductor applications, such as wafer machines, corrugated tubing is offered in a high purity PFA resin. High purity PFA has a maximum continuous operating temperature up to 300°F/148°C @ 0 pressure. Tubing is priced according to material, size, configuration and quantity.Â
