Packing Machine satisfies enviro-seal criteria.

Press Release Summary:

Comprised of container infeed and strapping modules, Evolite Packer handles LitePac packaging, which addresses secondary packaging of PET containers. In infeed module, containers are divided into 2 continuous lane flows. Four strapping units then create LitePac packs in strapping module. Fine-tuned motor dimensioning minimizes power consumption, while standby circuits minimize heat loss at welding tongues. With lifetime-lubricated bearings, machine almost completely eliminates lubricant use.

Enviro Seal for the New EvoLite Packer

The newly developed Evolite packer, comprising a container infeed module and a container strapping module, provides the technology required for handling the new LitePac packaging design. In the infeed module, the containers are divided into two continuous lane flows. Four strapping units then create the LitePac packs in the container strapping module.

LitePac addresses market trends for the secondary packaging of PET containers - not least in regard to eco-compatibility, resource-economy, reduced energy consumption and cost savings - and signposts a pack concept of the future.

The new Evolite strapping machine also satisfies criteria in regard to media/energy-efficiency and eco-compatibility, and has accordingly received the enviro seal. In the assessment process for awarding the enviro seal, the following features were principally determinant:

o Efficient motor selection specifically matched to the movements and acceleration functions in the machine;

o Reduced power consumption, thanks to optimised, fine-tuned motor dimensioning for minimising power consumption;

o Standby circuits for minimising heat losses at the welding tongues;

o Reduced compressed-air consumption, thanks to an optimised piping configuration and use of the best possible cross-sectional areas;

o Almost complete elimination of lubricant consumption, thanks to use of lifetime-lubricated bearings and special brush technology for lubricating conveyor chains;

o Ingenious workplace ergonomics with specially selected components for minimised noise emissions and maximised personnel safety.
