Series 500 Oxygen Monitor With Sentry Circuit(TM)

Delta F of Woburn, Massachusetts, has introduced a microprocessor based ambient air oxygen monitor. The Series 500 features the industry's only non-depleting electrochemical sensor. This sensor is factory calibrated to NIST Traceable Standards, is designed to last the life of the instrument, and is backed by a five-year warranty. Most oxygen monitors use battery-type sensors that need replacement every few months. In
addition, these sensors have a tendency to produce low oxygen alarms due to electrode depletion. Frequent occurrences of false low alarms can cause plant personnel to ignore the alerts creating a potentially dangerous situation should an actual low oxygen alarm event take place. Delta F's exclusive electrochemical sensor eliminates false alarms due to sensor depletion. Another unique feature of the Series 500 is the Sentry Circuit(TM) that monitors the instrument's calibration against any system or condition changes. If those changes become significant, the Sentry Circuit(TM) triggers an alert. Other standard features of the Series 500 include: built-in battery back-up, dual adjustable oxygen alarm setpoints, 0-25% range, ½ inch liquid crystal display, built-in audible alarm, front panel oxygen alarm and power status indicator lights, and an open diffuser sensor that eliminates the need to use a sample pump.
