Latest Offering From HOMExperts® Puts Design Centers at Builders' Fingertips
SAN FRANCISCO, June 21 / Owens Corning (BULLETIN BOARD: OWENQ) , a leading provider of builder services, today announced the addition of full-service design centers to its already robust Life of the Home® suite of service solutions as part of the company's HOMExperts® business. Owens Corning's Design Gallery Service provides physical design center locations that allow builders to interact with homebuyers through a comprehensive program, led by design experts, to create a living space that complements their new home.

Coupled with the proven customer satisfaction success achieved through the existing HOMExperts® service solutions, the Design Gallery Service gives builders a competitive advantage. Available to all builders in each location, the unique, personalized approach to the design process ensures that buyers will get the most out of their new homes by incorporating both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Other important components that are being introduced as a part of the Design Gallery Service include:
o Design Gallery Concierge -- New homeowners will be provided with a HOMExperts® concierge to help guide them through the entire design process. Available 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-per-week, the concierge will coordinate design and installation appointments, complete the homeowner's initial personal lifestyle profile and ensure an extraordinary service experience.
o Personalized Lifestyle Review -- Prior to the first appointment with their designer, the HOMExpert® concierge will lead buyers through a comprehensive review to provide the Design Consultant with valuable insight into the buyer's tastes and preferences. Following the profile, the Consultant will develop a sample rendering which the buyer will review at their first appointment.
o Personal Design Consultant -- Current on the latest trends and product innovations, the HOMExperts® certified team of design consultants are focused on creating an organized, stress-free and enjoyable experience for the homebuyer. Trained and experienced in establishing a relationship of trust and confidence with the buyer, builders can rest assured that customer expectations are continually exceeded.
o Enhanced Option Selection and Management -- A key component of the program, homebuyers have the ability to view hundreds of the latest styles and samples through an innovative Web-based technology to make the decision process easier. The interactive design software provides more opportunities to engage the homebuyer throughout the process with programs including a sample design review. The HOMExperts® Design team will also professionally manage the process to meet timelines.
o Installation Services -- HOMExperts® uniformed professionals are available to provide consistent, dependable and high-quality installation services, backed by Owens Corning's "total satisfaction" guarantee. No matter what homeowners choose to implement, all installations are product certified and comply with the manufacturer's warranty requirements. HOMExperts® Design Gallery Services are currently available to builders in California and Nevada, with branch offices located in Livermore and Sacramento, Calif. as well as Las Vegas, Nev.
