One Fixture, Multiple Solutions: Exceline Introduces Geomatrixx, Their First Family Of Outdoor Lights

UNION, NJ-March 10, 2005-Now you can use just a single fixture for a variety of mounting applications-wall, area, flood and indirect lighting-thanks to ExceLine's family of outdoor lighting products, the GeoMatrixx Series. ExceLine, a division of the Genlyte Group, recently introduced the new family of fixtures, which combines versatility and efficiency with contemporary architectural appeal.
Designed for accent, façade, parking, roadway, security and sign applications, the GeoMatrixx Series includes Architectural Area Lights, Architectural Flood Lights and Architectural WallPacks. All are available in small, medium and large sizes.
"We realized a need for outdoor lights with hardware that easily mounts to a variety of structures from poles to buildings, without the need for fixture engine modifications," says Phil Henry, Vice President, ExceLine. "GeoMatrixx is such a fixture. It was designed with look, function, cost-efficiency and easy installation in mind and is ideal for use by architects, engineers, specifiers and distributors."
With designs including integral cable to permit easy, hands-free wiring, each light in the new series is available in a variety of colors, comprised of die-cast aluminum construction and features stainless steel coverings on exposed hardware. Each model also features an injection-molded triple-finger silicone gasket, as well as an integral heat sink to ensure cool operation.
Meeting IESNA cutoff requirements, each model in the GeoMatrixx suite features hinged door frames with a clear tempered glass lens and a multifaceted reflection system for uniform distribution. All lights in the GeoMatrixx Series are UL wet location listed for above- or below-horizontal aiming and come complete with a UL-approved mounting box rated for 90%C supply wire with integral bubble level.
